Sandra Lee Cunningham
July 8th, 1951 - August 19th, 2020
Sandra Lee Cunningham, 69, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Lilac Springs Assisted Living in Lake Mills. Sandra was born on July 8, 1951 in Palmyra to Clyde Pierce and Matilda Breezee. She was raised in Fort Atkinson in her early years before meeting Steve Cunningham. They were married on January 7th, 1984 and settled down in Cambridge. She worked in a plastics factory and then as a cook in a nursing home for most of her life. Sandra loved the water; she enjoyed swimming, fishing, and relaxing by a lake or river. She had several hobbies including crocheting, canning veggies and jams, cooking and baking, gardening, and taking care of an aquarium of frogs. Sandra was a tough, vibrant woman that loved her family and her passions; qualities that those who knew her will remember forever. She is survived by her husband Steve; their three children Dawn Vest, Cheryl, and Matt (Jenny) Staton; and three grandchildren Brittany Bennington, Haily Vest, and Gabby Vest. She is preceded in death by her parents. At this time, there will be no services. Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge is assisting the family with arrangements, www.nitardyfuneralhome.com
