Winston-Salem-Sandra Gail Gentry, 56, went home to be with the Lord March 13, 2011. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 1:00PM Wednesday March 16, 2011 at Salem Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Howard Wilburn officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Gur Cemetery in Kernersville. She was a native of Forsyth County, and the daughter of the late John Robert Edwards and Mary Lou Gentry Edwards who survives. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Tonya Oxendine Larson and Ben of the home; son and daughter-in-law Clint Marvin Oxendine and Amber of Walkertown; step-son Dakota Pinnix ; grandchildren Jayda Larson, Ty Larson, Cierra Oxendine, Nevaeh Oxendine, and Sabra Oxendine;sisters Pam Autry and Jerry of Walnut Cove, and Paula Venable and Ricky of Winston-Salem; brother Tim Gentry and Melissa of Kernersville; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home in Kernersville.
