Sandra Kay Kiger “Sandy” LaRue, 74, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully Saturday, June 8, 2024.

A native of Forsyth County, NC, Sandy was the wife of Bobie Ray LaRue and the daughter of Luther Aldean “Check” Kiger and Margaret Nuegent Kiger, both deceased. Sandy enjoyed horseback riding and showing horses and was a true lover of all dogs.

Survivors include her husband, Bobie; two daughters, Debbie Joyce and husband, Tom, and Wendy Ureche and husband, Adam; and three grandchildren, Matthew LaRue and wife, Mallory, Tyler Joyce, and Jessica Joyce.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Aldean “Mike” Kiger.

A graveside service celebrating Sandy’s life will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, Kernersville, NC.
