Sandra Lombardi

Sandra Ann Lombardi devoted her entire professional career to the education of children. She was awarded a Bachelor's degree in education and later added a Master's accreditation in Special education and served as a teacher in all levels from preschool to high school. She was the owner/ founder of the Advanced Learning Centers preschools prior to becoming a public school teacher. Recently she had been awarded an EEF grant and was looking forward to continuing to implement her philosophy that all children can learn. Sandi, as she was known to her friends, was born on June 26, 1951 and passed away suddenly the night of May 12, 2013, at her home near Tucson, Arizona. She was the oldest child of Jo Ann and Charles Lombardi who preceded her in death and she is survived by five siblings, Wanda, Charles, Jan, Gale and Phillip; her children, Amber, Brett and Scott and her grandchildren, Steven and Triston. Known for her dogged determination and dedication to education, her wit and mischievous sense of humor will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Services will be held at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 9252 E. 22nd Street, Tucson, AZ at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2013. Arrangements by ANGEL VALLEY FUNERAL HOME.
