Sandra Wade Lowder

After a courageous battle with pulmonary disease, Sandra Wade Goodwin Lowder, 71, died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on June 2, 2014. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend who gave unselfishly to the end. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at St. Andrews Church, 440 Whilden St., Mt. Pleasant. Sandra was born on November 15, 1942, in Winchester, Tennessee to the late Albert Lusk Wade and Mary Moran Wade. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. She is survived by daughter, Alison Wade Goodwin Brewer, and son-in-law Michael E. Brewer of Mt. Pleasant, grandaughters Grayson Brewer and Mary Wade Brewer and her loyal siblings Marie Wade (Scott Blalock), Al Wade (Ann), James Wade (Marilyn) and John Wade (Sarah). The family expresses sincere gratitude to Dr. James Carswell, Roper Home Health, Piedmont Hospice and her faithful caregivers Robin Smith and Beatrice Pretto.
