All-States Cremation - Wheat Ridge
Sandra Montano
June 28th, 1953 - May 15th, 2017
Sandra Montano, of Thornton, CO, originally of (Pueblo, CO) our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend, went home too soon, to God, on May fifteenth. Sandra came into this beautiful existence in 1953. Sandra is survived by her loving son, John, adoring grandson Anthony, admiring daughter in law, Mary and her parents Kathy and Dennis Himmelberger. Her Brothers Chuck, Joe Jr., and David Montano, Sister Elaine Martinez, Nieces: Natalie and Stephanie Martinez and family, Kathy Prince and family, Whitney Montano and family, Rosie Montano, Sharon Montano and thier families. Nephews: Nathan Martinez and Family, Richard Prince and family, Joe Montano III, Chuck Montano Jr and family, Sam Montano as well as many more extended family members and friends. Her passing is a difficult journey for us all. She will be sorely missed. Sandra entered this life, in Pueblo, CO, to a big, wonderful family, in which she loved, and adored, each and every one of them. She enjoyed telling stories, and happy memories, about her family and everyone loved hearing them. She came to Denver in the early 2000’s, this is where she gained a grandson. She loved her grandson exceedingly, and enjoyed playing video games, and watching movies, with her hito and her son, every weekend. Sandy was the epitome of kindness, helpfulness, and such an inspiration, despite many years of chronic illness. She loved life, her family (especially her grandson!) and was a prime example upon how all of us should rightfully live. She was an outstanding Mother, Grandmother, Mother-in -Law, Daughter, Sister, and Friend. Sandy had an associates degree in applied sciences and a bachelor’s degree in social work. She loved movies, listening to music, playing video games, hanging out with her best friend Bonnie, and all her numerous friends at her senior apartments. Helpful, kind, strong and positive Sandy was our anchor, our happiness, and our light. Sandra was fun loving, especially enjoying time with her grandson and son. Sandy loved joking around, laughing, smiling, and most of all, watching her hito grow into a young man. Before her illness became too great, Sandy loved camping with her friend Leroy, and was active in the physically disabled community. Sandra lived a long life, with the burden of Lupus. Undeterred by her illness, she never complained once. Sandra was an exceptional inspiration and model, upon how all of us should act with each other. Sandra was loved by anyone she met and befriended, Sandy will always be loved and missed very much. Our world is not the same without her, but we know we all shall meet again.
