Beers and Story - Palmer
Sandra B. Morgan
July 9th, 1947 - November 18th, 2023
Wales – Sandra (Boone) Morgan, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Daughter of the late Albert J and Eleanor (Robbins) Boone, she grew up in Monson where she graduated from high school. She spent many years working as the secretary of the Wales Elementary School, and later as a K-4 teacher at Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Palmer. Her greatest joy came from being a full-time homemaker, wife and mother. Anybody who knew her knew that she lived by her favorite motto, “The greatest things in life are the things you can do for others.” She was always the first to offer a helping hand, to listen, to comfort, and to pray for others. Nobody ever left her home hungry or wondering if they were loved. She was an encourager, supporter and friend to so, so many. Her faith and her family were the two most important things in her life that she lived both by, and for. She was an active and long-time member of Quaboag Church in Brookfield, and her family takes great comfort in knowing that she is now at Home in Heaven with her Savior. Sandy will be missed beyond words by all who knew and loved her, including her husband of 57 years, William “Bill” Morgan; her son, William “Bill” Morgan Jr and his wife, Loisy of Brimfield and Tamara Smith and her husband, Dan of Wales; her 6 grandchildren Stefanie Morgan & husband Joseph, Heather (Morgan) Johnson & husband Dan, Isabella Morgan, Caleb, Hannah and Sam Smith, her 3 great-grandchildren, Andrew and Oliver Seggio, and Finley Johnson; her brother Jack Boone and his wife Kathie of Wales; her sister Cheryl Lucia and her husband Gary of Wales; as well as many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N Main Street, from 1pm-4pm. A funeral home service will be held the following morning beginning at 10am followed by burial in Wales Cemetery Four. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital., https://www.stjude.org/donate
