Sandra (Sandi) Lee Argento Newcombe, 78, passed away on August 21, 2024, in Loveland Colorado with family by her side. She was born on October 13th, 1945, in Watertown Massachusetts to the late Frank and Kathryn (Traylor) Argento. She graduated from Watertown High in 1963 and later moved to Natick Massachusetts where she raised her three children. Jessica Newcombe, preceded in death by Jeffrey Newcombe. And January (Newcombe) Windell.
Sandi’s pride and joy was being a grandmother “Noni” to Jenna, Hope, JJ, Jordyn and Rachel Newcombe. Amelia and Everly Windell. She was a loving sister, caring mother-in-law and true friend. She was “Auntie" to many nieces and nephews.
She found happiness in family, friends, work, travel, and arts and crafts. She was a volunteer for many charitable organizations including The Salvation Army, The Jimmy Fund, The Boston Marathon and McKee Medical Center. She was passionate about running the Miss Natick pageant and working for the Miss Massachusetts USA organization. Her travels took her to many places. She found her home away from home in Aruba.
Sandi loved being a bartender for over 45 years including Saccos in Watertown, VFW in Wayland and the Natick Elks. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Natick.
Sandi enjoyed staying active, talking, shopping, being around people, and helping others. She loved everything Elvis, hosting parties and telling stories of her youth. She was a social butterfly with a great sense of humor and a unique sense of style. A strong and proud Italian woman with the best Boston accent. She had a beautiful soul and an infectious smile!
