Sandra "Brucha Bat Heschel V Ruth" Brook Rose

Sandra Brook Rose, age 83, of Bulverde, TX and formerly of Las Vegas, died Sunday, May 22, 2016. Sandra was born December 23, 1932 in Hartford CT to the late Harry and the late Ruth (Kahn) Schupack. Sandy earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island in Child Development and taught preschool and kindergarten. She was an active member of the communities in which she lived, including volunteering at the Jewish Hospital in Providence RI and with the Jewish War Veterans in Las Vegas. Sandy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leonard Rose; children Laura (Raymond) Konet of Bulverde, TX, Karynsue (Larry) Thomas of Palm Desert, CA and Harry (Donna) Rose of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and grandchildren Danielle Rose, Nicole Rose, Jillian Rose, Dillon Rose, Aimee Konet and Jason Konet. The funeral service was held at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services on May 31, with burial at the Southern Nevada Veteran's Cemetery on June 1.
