Sandra "Sandy" Marie Haley
June 11th, 1943 - July 7th, 2022
Sandra Marie Haley (Sandy), 79, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington KY. Sandy was born on June 11, 1943 in Greensburg, IN, the daughter of Roy and Lois (Walsman) Koenigkramer. Sandy was a 1962 graduate of Newpoint High School in Indiana. She was a Registered Nurse and graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis, IN. She married Boyd Eugene Haley in September 1965 and they lived in the northwest until finally moving to Nicholasville, KY in 1985. She was a nurse for over 20 years, a successful breeder of Arabian horses, and a business manager for CTI Science. She was a world traveler, avid gardener, incredible cook and loved to host gatherings with loved ones. She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Johnson of Richmond, KY and Shannon Haley of Salt Lake City, UT; four grandchildren Sarah and Lynaugh Bobst and Miles and Kaysie Frantz; one great grandchild Bridget; and her sister Ella McKelvey. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Cecil and Vernon Koenigkramer. A celebration of life will be held at Clark Legacy Center at Brannon Crossing in Nicholasville Kentucky on July 17, 2022 from 2pm til 4pm. Burial will be held at a later date in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army.
