Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel - Payette
Sandra Ruth Heitz Scott
July 17th, 1952 - April 11th, 2016
.Sandra Ruth (Heitz) Scott, age 63, passed away at home April 10, 2016 of natural causes. Sandra was the third child born to John and Vera Heitz (of Fruitland and later of New Plymouth). Sandy spent most of her school years in New Plymouth, transferring in her senior year and graduating in 1971 from Glenns Ferry High School. Growing up in New Plymouth as a child of farmers, our mom learned a love of nature and animals of all types, but her greatest love was her dairy goats; she enjoyed being a part of the American Dairy Goat Association, participating in shows, and was very proud to have earned her A.D.G.A. life time membership award several years ago. Sandy had unending tenderness and patience for all of God's animals great or small; she treated them all with care and love. At our mom's knee we learned an appreciation of animals and the value they can add to our lives. She is survived by a daughter Woneta Mendive (Rick) of Nyssa; a son Casimiro "Shane" Ramos (Niki) of Payette; a sister Nancy Wootan of Glenns Ferry; and her grandchildren. My brother Shane and I would like to thank all of the friends that have been so wonderful to our mother. Cremation is under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to the family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com.
