Sandra Jean "Sandy" Shaw
December 11th, 1947 - March 25th, 2019
Sandra J. Shaw, 71, of Wilder, ID, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, at home. Born to, Imogene (Tucker) Shaw and Homer Vansure on December 11, 1947. Even though an only child, she was never lonely. Our large family, the Tuckers and Shaws, all treated her like a sister. Over the years, she lost lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. Prior to her death, she lost her dad, on June 15, 1977, and mom, on June 15, 1992, and grandpa Shaw and grandmother Tucker. She leaves behind her significant other and very best friend, Bryan Mikkelsen of Wilder, ID; 3 children, Eric David Hoover (Cielo) and their children, Ranzel Lorino, Asher Hoover, Dainin Hoover, all of Anchorage, AK; a daughter, Kristi Harris (Steve), of Baker City, OR and their children, Kara, Klarissa, Lindsey and Wyatt; and Travis C. Hoover youngest son From Girdwood, AK.; She was known as Ma Shaw to Bryans kids, Pete Mikklesen and son Emmitt from Redmond, OR and daughter Megan from Vale, OR. she is also survived by her moms youngest sister, Dalphine Thomason, of Prineville and her dads sister, Myrth Broyles from Flagstaff, AZ and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from both sides of the family. All her friends and family were very special to her. She taught children for 30 plus years and spent 10 years as a 4-H Livestock Leader for pigs. She was baptized in the early fall of 1996 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Medford, OR. The 23rd Psalm is a special verse that she connected with peace; which is what she hopes to leave you with. Her favorite songs were “How Great Thou Art”, “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” and “Amazing Grace”. God Bless you. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com.
