Sandra R. Walters

Sandra R. Walters, 78, of Syracuse passed away on Friday, May 28th. She was a life time resident of the Valley. Sandy was born in Syracuse to her parents B. Foster and Harriett M.(Potter) Walters in 1942. She was a graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy, a life time member of Atonement Lutheran Church and a member of the American Legion post 1468. Early in her career path, she owned and operated The Valley Smoke Shop and provided care for many of the local children. Sandy was predeceased by her parents and many close family and friends. She is survived by; her sister, Sharon Hothem, niece; Michelle Deyo, nephews; James and Timothy Weston, 5 great nieces and nephews, 8 great-great nieces and nephews, 3 cousins and many wonderful friends. Special thank you to Mark and Marianne. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 12th at 12 PM at Atonement Lutheran Church 116 W. Glen Ave, Syracuse, New York 13205 Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
