Santiago Saavedra

On Saturday November 11, 2023, Santiago Saavedra a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew,and friend passed away at the age of 15. Santiago was born on February 15, 2008 in Albuquerque NM to Harvey Saavedra and Jennifer Avalos. Santiago had a passion for becoming a rapper one day. He loved to play basketball & video games. He also loved his music and hanging out with his brother, family and friends. He was known for his quick, but funny sense of humor and infectious smile and playful and compassionate spirit. Santiago was preceded in death by his father Harvey Saavedra, grandma Rona Avalos, great grandma Judy Correa, aunt Amy and grandparents Larry and Diane Saavedra. He is survived by his mom Jennifer, grandpa Ralph, step father Matthew, sisters Mariah and Kaylah, brothers Adrian and Eli, and several aunts,uncles,cousins and his god parents. A funeral service will be on Monday November 27, 2023 at 4 pm at Gospel light Baptist church 1500 Southern Blvd. SE Rio Rancho NM 87124. Food and refreshments will follow service.
