Santos Peña

January 29th, 2013

Santos Peña, 89, of Caldwell passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 of natural causes. Santos was born in Sabinal, Texas and entered the Baptist ministry at the age of 18. Santos married Virginia on January 19, 1943 in Texas and together they traveled many years as migrant workers until they came to settle in Caldwell 46 years ago. Santos and Virginia celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on January 19th of this year together they raised 12 children; Alicia, Irma, Yolanda, Oralia, Sylvia, Noelia, David, Jerry. He was preceded in death by daughter Amelia and infant daughter Delia, infant sons Juan and David. He had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held Monday February 4, 2013 at New Life Celebration Church of God 1201 Arthur St, Caldwell, ID 83605 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Flahiff Funeral Chapel. In 1984, Flahiff Chapels expanded its facility with the addition of Canyon and Owyhee County’s first crematory.
