Sara Gershuny, 92, of St. Petersburg, formerly of Israel, passed away Aug. 23, 2012. Sara was born in Poland and moved to Florida in 1985 from Israel, where she lived in Philip Benjamin Tower. She is survived by her beloved children, son, Moshe (Sharon); daughter, Betty Levy; sister, Shoshana Moneta; grandchildren, Ron Levy, Sigal Kennedy, Elana Gershuny, Daniela Heitzman, and Jonathan Gershuny; and great-grandchildren Diana and Colin. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, Aug. 26th at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 12905 Wild Acres Road in Largo. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Sara's memory to Congregation B'nai Israel. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family.
