Sara F. McSorley, 92 Born August 5, 1926 Died October 11, 2018 Sara, born Sara Lee Foster, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 11, 2018. She was born in San Angelo, TX to William Martin Foster and Ruby Cordelia Morrow. She had three children, Linda Kay Caisse, Stephanie Martina (Marty) Jenkins, and Samuel (Sam) Morrow Cummins. Sara retired as an auditor with the IRS in 1986. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, and most recently was a member of the Northeast Church of Christ congregation. Prior to that she was a member of the congregation at the Mountainside Church of Christ. Sara is preceded in death by her husband Frank McSorley, son Samuel Cummins, daughter Stephanie Jenkins, son in law Robert Jenkins, and grandson David Smyer. Sara is survived by her daughter Linda Kay Caisse and husband Al Caisse of Albuquerque, NM and daughter-in-law Paula Cummins of Albuquerque, NM as well as eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; Ken Harrell and wife Rosemary, daughter Christy Johnson, husband Ryan, and their son Ryke, of Arvada, CO, John Harrell and partner Joe Shively of Denver, CO, James Harrell and wife Becci, children Gavin Harrell, Payton Harrell, Parker Harrell, and Maddie Harrell of Redding, CA, daughter Jessica Harrell of Boise, ID, Stephen Smyer, children Stefan Smyer, Taryn Smyer, and Madyson Smyer of Albuquerque, NM, Daniel Cummins and wife Erin of Roseville, CA, Sherryl Pratt and husband Glenn, children Lauren Pratt and Eric Pratt of Frisco, TX, Bryan Cummins of Los Angeles, CA, Katrina Wright and husband Rich, children Lene Wright and Lane Wright of Colorado Springs, CO and two stepsons, Joe McSorley and Cisco McSorley of Albuquerque, NM. Sara's service for family and friends will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, it was Sara's wishes that donations be made in her name to one or more of the following: the NM Chapter Alzheimer's Association (PO Box 21400, Albuquerque, NM 87154), The Northeast Church of Christ (11000 Paseo Del Norte NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87122), or Mountainside Church of Christ (12300 Indian School Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87112). The family greatly thanks the staff at Montebello and especially Ambercare for their dedication, hard work, and support throughout her last months.
