Sara Ruthvyn Williams
June 17th, 1916 - November 28th, 2008
Sara Williams, 92, of Chandler, passed away November 28, 2008. She was born June 17, 1916 in New Castle, Indiana. She then married Paul Williams in 1938, and had one son, Paul Williams Jr. in 1942. They moved to AZ in 1959, where she remained for the duration of her life. Sara and her family fell in love with Arizona. They lived and traveled all over the state, and enjoyed several business ventures as well. In 1962, Sara was recognized for her talents, in a business magazine called, "The Mortgagee." Sara had a zest for life! She loved dancing, as well as playing Bingo and cards with her friends at the Gilbert Senior Center. She enjoyed going out to eat with her grandchildren, at her favorite restaurants. Her eyes really lit up in front of a good blueberry muffin! Sara is survived and loved by several family members that consist of: one sister, five grandchildren, one grandchild, and three nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother, Roland Lagle, husband and son. Memorial Services for friends and family will be 12/4/08 at 6 PM at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave. Gilbert, AZ 85234. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of the Southwest, 450 N. Dobson Rd. Suite 108, Mesa, AZ 85201
