Sarah Marr

Sarah Nancy Reece Marr, died Monday, October 4, 2010, at Blumenthal Nursing Home in Greensboro, North Carolina. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, October 9th at Oakwood Cemetery in Bucyrus, Ohio. Sarah Nancy Reece Marr, was born in Rocky River, Ohio on April 25, 1927, to Paul Drought and Dorcas Beer Reece. She attended Chagrin Falls High School in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Wooster College in Wooster, Ohio. She was the owner and operator of Hampton Antiques in downtown Greensboro and was a volunteer for the SPCA of the Triad. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Tabitha Reece. Sarah Nancy Reece Marr is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Pezick and husband Ritch, of Greensboro, sons, Clyde Marr and wife Ellen, of Raleigh, Paul Marr and wife Sonya, of Marietta, Georgia; and grandchildren, Hannah Marr, Katherine Marr, Elizabeth Marr and Patrick Marr. Our mother, Sarah is loved and will always be in our thoughts. She touched many lives and will always be cherished.
