Sarah Elizabeth McCormack

Sarah Elizabeth McCormack, passed away too soon on November 17, 2023. She was 16 years old and lived in Land O'Lakes Florida. She is survived by her loving family; father Stephen, mother Jennifer, and brother Austin. Sarah was born on July 10, 2007 in Wichita Falls, Texas but quickly relocated to her parents’ home state of Florida. Due to her father’s career in the Air Force, Sarah spent her elementary school years traveling Europe with her family while being stationed in Germany. She was able to travel and see more countries in 4 years than most people see in a lifetime. In 2017 her family settled in Land O’Lakes and her love of volleyball began. Sarah played for Land O’Lakes High School and several club volleyball teams while she dreamt of playing at the college level. In Sarah’s short life she made a big impact on her family and friends. She was a ray of sunshine to everyone she met with her outgoing personality, big smile and blue eyes. She was kind, thoughtful and had a way of making everyone feel special around her. It was as if she knew life would be short because she would never leave a room without telling her family that she loved them. The light of Jesus shined bright through Sarah and her family’s hope is that her impact continues to brighten the lives of others. Sarah’s family appreciates all the love and support they have received during this tragic time from the Land O’Lakes community, friends, and family. Sarah’s celebration of life will be on December 2nd at 1pm at Grace Family Church at 22920 Sr 54, Lutz, Florida.
