Sarah Alice Wood, born February 5, 1925 in Waverly Hall, GA, passed away on August 18, 2016 in South Lake Tahoe, CA. She was a longtime resident of Olivehurst. Sarah was a school teacher, a member of the Marysville First Presbyterian Church, American Association of University Women (AAUW), and California Retired Teacher Association. She was preceded in death by her husband Eufay Wood Sr. and son Walter Wood. She is survived by her son Eufay Wood Jr. (Gloria), and granddaughter Tiffany Wood. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park with Pastor Rich Hinkle officiating. Interment will be at Sierra View Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel. -
