Scott Allen November 28, 1953- January 20, 2021 Scott Gilbert Allen, 67, passed away on January 20, 2021. He was a military child and was born in Bitburg, Germany on November 28, 1953. Scott graduated from Satellite High School, received a Nursing Degree from the University of South Carolina, and a Masters of Science in Health Administration Services from the College of St. Francis. Scott had a long, successful history in the medical field in Brevard County. He started as an orderly at Brevard Hospital. After becoming an RN he worked on the Dialysis unit, in which he became the assistant manager and head of the IV/ PICC line team. He later worked for Roebuck and Associates as an Executive Director for Home Health. When Roebuck & Assoc. was acquired by Cape Canaveral Hospital and later Health First he lead as the Matrix Director and spearheaded the Home Health, Private Duty, and Durable Medical Equipment divisions. He is survived by his children Scott Allen and Elizabeth Smock (Andrew); grandchildren Jacob Allen, Elijah Allen, Matthew Allen, Riley Smock, Jackson Smock, and Kennedy Smock. Siblings Linda Fleming, Bonita Gray (Gordon), Brenda Thomas, Dayton Allen III (Brenda), John Allen (Sophie). He will be missed by the many he shared an intimate relationship with and his beloved Basenji Mick. Scott never liked being the center of attention and per his wishes there will be no service. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Donations may be made to Health First Hospice (https://hf.org/ways_to_help/donate.cfm ), in memory of Scott G.
