Scott Irvin Bloom

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Scott Irvin Bloom of Henderson, NV on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the age of 43 years. Scott passed away at Henderson Hospital from complications of covid-19. He is survived by his uncle Gerald and Aunt Dawna; cousins: Jessica, Jennifer, Erin, Bailey, and Kelsey. Preceding him in death was his mother, Della; sister Kathleen; Grandmother Dorothy; Grandfather Gerald; Cousins Sabrina and Michael. Scott was born in Oklahoma to Della Bloomfield and Brian Bloom. He lived most of his life in central California, where he worked in the automotive industry. In early 2021, he made the decision to move to Nevada to be closer to his cousin Jessica and Uncle Gerald. He bought his own home and worked as a Finance Director for Johnny Legends Mitsubishi. When Scott was not working, he loved to cook, shoot firearms, play video games, and spend time with family and friends. Anyone who knew Scott was touched by his kindness, humor, and mild temperament. He was a bit of a jokester too and was always up for a good laugh. Most importantly, anyone that truly knew him, knew he had such a big heart. There will be a Celebration of Life held in his honor, hosted by the Reynolds family in the Las Vegas area. There will also be a Celebration of Life in the San Luis Obispo area on a future date in 2022. Contributions in memory of Scott can be made directly to his family at that time.
