Obituary Scott Alan Henderson, 57, of Colorado Springs passed away October 3, 2015. Scott is survived by his wife, Janet; sons, Kiel of Colorado Springs and Eric of Denver; sister, Denise (Arnold) Valley of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Arlene Henderson. Scott was born in Sedro Wolley, WA on August 23, 1958. He graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids in 1976. Scott started working in his Uncle Johns Body Shop at the age of 12 and fell in love with cars. He began drag racing at the age of 16. Scott moved to Colorado Springs in 1979. He became a member of IBEW Local 113 and worked as an electrician for 32 years. Scott married Janet Yuhasz on Friday July 13, 1984. Together they raised 2 sons in Colorado Springs. Scott enjoyed playing the guitar, hunting, snowmobiling, fishing, baseball and drag racing. We will remember Scott as a dedicated, loving husband and father. He was passionate for life, kind hearted, driven, goal oriented, proud, fearless, and above all, a genuine caring individual.
