Scott R. Johnston passed away October 4, 2023, in Olympia, Wash. He was born November 11, 1978, to Robert and Kathleen Johnston in Olympia, and was a longstanding Thurston County resident. Scott graduated from Tumwater High School; married Tamera Schouweiler on August 31, 2013, in Maytown, Wash.; and was a bricklayer and member of Bricklayer and Allied Craftworkers Local 1 WA/AK. He will be remembered for his dependability in all aspects of his life. Scott loved watching his kids participate in their various sports, traveling and visiting National Parks, working on his property, and watching his ducks, turkeys, and chickens. He is survived by his wife, Tamera “Tami” Johnston; daughters, Milynda “Mily” Johnston (age 18) and Hazel (age 9); brother, Michael Johnston; and sisters, Dianne Lunny and Amy Rogers. Services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 7075 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey, WA 98503. In lieu of flowers, gift cards for gas or groceries would be graciously accepted. Please leave condolences or share memories and photos on the Tribute Wall to the left.
