Scott Andrew Mitchell
June 6th, 1965 - July 17th, 2019
Scott Andrew Mitchell was born June 6, 1965 in St. Louis Missouri. He was adopted by Don and Evelyn Mitchell at six weeks old. The moved to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska shortly after. In 1972 the family moved to Tacoma, Washington where his father was stationed at Mc Chord AFB. In 1989 Scott married his dear friend and love of his life, Michelle Diane Day, who preceded him in death after her battle with pancreatic cancer. They had three children. Scott is survived by his children, Cody Mitchell (Carolyn Mitchell), Meagan Nelson (Yul Nelson) & Savanah Aldrich (Chris Aldrich) and 8 grand children, Jordan, Xander, Tristan, Ashton, Charlotte, Caleb, Cannon & Evelyn, His Sister Lyn Anne Krueger (Randy Krueger) and 4 nephews Marcus, Ryan, Andrew and Darius. A memorial is being held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Canyon Ridge Church, 8415 Waller road E, Tacoma, Washington 98446 at 1 pm followed by a small reception of family and friends. To help with unexpected costs we ask if you are able to, please bring a potluck dish.
