Scott Michael Rosenthal

SCOTT MICHAEL ROSENTHAL passed back into the Universe on April 24th, 2021, in Denver, Colorado. Scott was born in New York and moved to Colorado in his teens. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes with his friends in the foothills southwest of Denver, while attending high school, where he maintained perfect attendance. After graduation, Scott went to work at Fay Myers Honda in Denver where he worked for over 20-plus years. After a short stint at a motorcycle dealer in Castle Rock, Scott started working for BMW, where he remained until cancer took him from us, at age 59. Over the years Scott made many friends, especially among his co-workers. His ready smile was shared with family, friends and co-workers alike. Scott's passion was racing, both motorcycles and cars. He owned many of each over time. He also loved watching NASCAR. Although a very private individual personally, Scott was always happy to help where needed. He volunteered on a regular basis as part of the “pit crew” doing oil changes and providing routine maintenance at Hands of the Carpenter, a non-profit car donation charity supporting the transportation needs of single mothers and women in need. Everyone who knew Scott found him to be loyal and hard-working. A good friend, with a dry sense of humor. A kind person who never liked hostility. Though gone from this world, he will never be forgotten by those of us who knew him and loved him. No memorial is planned at this time, but his final wish was "be kind to others and treat each other with respect". That is his legacy - kindness.
