Selma Simmons Shenefield

SHENEFIELD, Selma Simmons 56, of Apollo Beach, Fl. passed away on May 26, 2008. She is survived by her loving husband, John Michael "Mike", son, Jason (Cheri), daughter, Cindy (Jeff), her mother, Jennie Ray "Jay" Simmons, her brother, Sam (Linda), two nephews Sammy (Nikki) and Dean (Chivon), two great nieces, one great nephew and longtime friend, Pat Woolweaver and many other close friends! She is now in heaven with her father, Royce Simmons. Selma's death was unexpected by all and happened at a place she loved most, (The Lake). Selma was a best friend to everyone and a full time mother to all. She never met a stranger and will be remembered as befriending everyone she met and doing anything for anyone. Selma now has an eagle's eye view of all that is going on. Everyone who has come in contact with her now has their own guardian angel watching over them. Family will receive friends, 10 to 11 AM, Friday May 30, 2008 at the funeral home.
