Sham Sidher, 70, died December 2, 2020, with his wife by his side in Sacramento, CA. A memorial service is intended to be held when it is safe to do so. Mr. Sidher was born May 4, 1950, in India, to Ram Swroop and Agia Wati Sidher. Sham could accomplish anything he set his mind to. He came to America (Yuba City) in 1967 with $6 in his pocket and created quite the life for himself. Sham started off as a field worker and harvester. After providing for his family and putting his siblings through school he was able to save enough money to start his journey as an entrepreneur. He bought his first business before he married his wife, Roma Sidher. Through their life together they built a number of businesses and helped several loved ones with the start of their businesses. Sham was very much a man who loved to help people. He enjoyed and took pride in seeing the people he loved succeed in their lives. Sham had a big soft heart. He would always jump to donate if there was a natural disaster or if someone was in need of help. Sham was a lover of good food, traveling, hats and sweater vests, family time, the store he built with his hands, television, and so much more. His last role he played in life was the role of grandpa. He anticipated that role and enjoyed the little time he had with his precious granddaughter who brought him so much joy. Sham is survived by his wife, Roma Sidher; son, Ashum Sidher; daughters, Sarita Sidher, Savina Thomsen, and Sonika Sidher; son-in-law, Christian Thomsen; granddaughter, Iyla Thomsen; sisters, Sunder Bala Angrish (older) and Jiwan Sharma (younger); and brother, Chander Sidher. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ram Swroop and Agia Wati Sidher.
