Shannon A. McDowell, 45, of Magnolia, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 28, 2021. Legacy A loving, compassionate woman, Shannon had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Nothing made Shannon happier than spending time with her children and grandchildren. It was the simple things that Shannon enjoyed doing with her family, like taking them swimming and going to amusement parks that have made precious moments and memories for them all. Shannon was a jack of all trades...you name it, Shannon could do it. She loved to sing and was a master in the kitchen. Shannon was the kind of cook who could open the cupboard, throw some ingredients together, and make something extraordinary. Family Beloved daughter of Teresa L. McDowell and James A. Sinclair, Sr.; devoted mother of Cheyenne McDowell, Jay S McDowell, Sierra A. Phillips, Selena Phillips, Daniel Laws, Larry T. Williams, Jr and Elijah C. Williams; cherished grandmother of Aliyah L. Segar, Jay S. McDowell, Jr., Zarrion Phillips, Ashton Gonzales-Laws, Analiyse Rosado and Noah J. Davis; loving sister of Janson McDowell, Jordan McDowell, Joshua Martin, Isaiah Easterling, Janet Sinclair, Karen Washington, Brenda Harrell, James Sinclair, Jr., Beth Washington, Kathy Simmons, Kevin Sinclair and Aaron Coleman; dear niece of Joanne (Michael) Keegan, Susie McDowell, Mike McDowell,Fran McDowell and Ted (Nancy) Sinclair. Shannon is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Francis and Roberta McDowell and paternal grandparents, Theodore Roosevelt Sinclair and Katherine Paynter Sinclair and survived by a host of many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to Shannon's Memorial Ceremony on Saturday, July 10, 2021, 12:00 PM at Lighthouse of Deliverance Gospel Church, 365 Blackwood Clementon Road, Lindenwold, NJ 08021.
