Sharlene Medeiros

"Palmer-Sharlene (Dent) Medeiros, 55, of Harvey St. in Thorndike, passed away June 12, 2009 at Baystate Medical Center. Born March 4, 1954 in Vallejo, CA, she was the daughter of the late William Dent and Frances C. (Martin) Silliker. Sharlene was raised by Frederic A. Silliker and her mother Frances. She held various job positions and most recently was the office manager at Maid Pro. Sharlene was a classy, independent, loyal, strong, loving person who would do anything for anyone. She was a One Star Cribbage Player and received many awards throughout the country. The love she had for her family will never be forgotten. Sharlene will be deeply missed by her husband of 15 years, Bill Medeiros, along with her cherished children, Scott Szaban of Springfield, and Donnarae Szaban and her boyfriend Armand of Worcester. She will be also long remembered by her two brothers, Fred Silliker and his wife Debbie and their daughter Ashley of Thorndike and William Silliker of Indian Orchard. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in Four Corners Cemetery with her family. Donations may be made in her memory to either the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association"
