Sharon was called back to the house of the Lord after a lengthy battle with heart failure. She was born in Portland, OR to Eastle and Patricia Brewer. She grew up in the shadow of her favorite mountain, Mt. Hood and graduated Sandy High School in 1972. She maintained many jobs in her life, but was most proud of putting herself through nursing school while taking care of her 2 children. She then had Jake, her special angel who taught her many things about life. After Jake was born, Sharon went on to PA school and graduated with honors. She met her husband, Brian, while in PA school and training in the emergency room in Boise. They were married Sept. 6, 1997 and lived in Middleton, ID till her death. Her only job as a PA was at the VA Hospital in Boise. Although she wasn’t a military veteran, she loved her veteran patients and took pride in knowing she could make a difference in their lives. She proudly served our veteran heroes for 12 years before retiring due to medical problems. There were many family gatherings in their country home and she always made room for family. She is most proud of her children- Lisa, Kyle and Jake, they gave her the strength to pursue her life dream of helping people. She was a very strong and caring woman. She loved to travel. She and Brian went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They went on a safari in South Africa, Salmon fishing in Alaska, she also survived the ‘Road to Hana’ in Maui. These were her favorite places to visit. She had a passion for camping and fishing with her late friend Sandee. They spent many nights laughing and knitting. She is survived by her husband, of 18 years, Brian. Her children: Lisa Waits-Webb, Fruitland, ID; Kyle and Jami Waits, Mt Hood, OR; Special needs ANGEL, Jake Richesin, Boise, ID; Malanie and Josh Grist, Kuna, ID; Special needs ANGEL, Brian Jr., Kuna, ID. Adopted sons; Andy and Randy Leavitt, Boise, ID. She is also survived by her parents Eastle and Patricia Brewer, Nyssa, OR; Sandy (Sassy) and Ron Smallwood, Nyssa, OR; Kim and Al Allen, Cloverdale, OR; Marvin Brewer, Tillamook, OR; Rosa and Ken Bernardin, WA. Four nieces: Maggie Allen, Eileen Reffett, Alisson Fales, Valerie Roland and nephew Damian Brewer. She has 8 grand-children: Ambrie White, Kimberley Webb, Isaac Phelps, Eli Phelps, Ayden Phelps, Owen Waits, Anglin Grist and Fisher Grist. 2 Great-Grandchildren: Annabelle Rose White and Carter Neil Webb. She is preceded in death by her brother Steve, Grandmother Josie, Grandmother Alyce, husband Patrick Waits and husband Del Haugen. Viewing will be at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell on Monday, June 8, 2015, from 4-8 pm. Cremation will follow.
