Sharon Ann Cofield, 73, of Rotonda West, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Englewood Health & Rehablitation Center. Born on September 15, 1941 to Robert and Margarite (Bemenderfer) Engelage; Mrs. Cofield moved to Florida 18 years ago from Monmouth, IL. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Sharon enjoyed knitting and cross stiching. Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years: Michael; two sons: Philip (Jera) Cofield of St. Charles, MO; Thomas (Sarina) Cofield of Olympia, WA and three grandchildren: Daniel, Ashley and Ryan. She was preceded in death by her son Ronald Cofield in 1976. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Englewood Community Funeral Home, 3070 South McCall Road, Englewood, FL 34224. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 5265 Placida Road, Grove City, FL 34224. Interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery Galesburg, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Outreach Ministry in memory of Sharon Cofield.
