Sharon Louise Condon (1964-2024)

On September 21, 2024, the world lost a truly inspirational soul. Sharon Louise Condon, born August 5, 1964, in Harrisburg, PA, passed away in Summerville, SC, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering love, devotion, and service.

She was the daughter of the late Richard and Barbara Cvek of Middletown, PA. She is survived by Tim Condon, husband; Jared Condon, son and wife Erin; Megan Buzzell, daughter and husband John; Lucas Condon, son; Kira Condon and Lilly Mae Buzzell, granddaughters. Along with 4 siblings (brother Scott Cvek and sisters Cindy Janasik, Debby Spina, and Barb Cvek), their spouses and many nieces and nephews.

Sharon worked in various roles for many years supporting the Special Education (Autism) program within the Chesterfield County Public School System in central Virginia. In 2018, she graduated from VCU and fully realized her dream of teaching at Monacan High School as a Special Education teacher for high functioning autistic students. She retired in May of 2023 but continued her passion for education by substitute teaching in South Carolina.

She loved her family fiercely and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. She was a woman of deep faith who never wavered in her devotion to God. She sacrificed continuously to support her children and husband. She had a strong personality with a spicy side that everyone loved. Her tenacity and drive led her to many significant accomplishments in life and left a lasting impression on all that were lucky to know her.

She enjoyed spending time with her family (especially the grandgirls), staying active and adventuring outdoors as well as exploring new places, enjoying Virginia wine country, lovingly crafting homemade items for herself and others, playing board games with her family, watching live sports (and yelling at the TV accordingly), and following the Hallmark channel religiously.

The funeral ceremony will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 12:30 PM on Friday October 4th, 2024, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003.

If you feel so compelled and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Sharon's honor to the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism at www.flutiefoundation.org

Sharon’s memory will live forever within her loved one’s hearts and inspire those who knew her. Her love, courage and devotion will remain a guiding light for her family and community.
