Sharon Kay Forbes, 72, of Greeley, CO passed away January 25, 2014 at North Colorado Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1941 in Eaton, CO to Perry and Gladys (Ricketts) Daughtrey. Sharon attended school in Ault, CO, graduating from Ault High School in 1959. On April 7, 1961 she married Walter E. Forbes in Ault. Sharon enjoyed traveling and bowling and family times, especially with her two grandchildren. She was a sports enthusiast and an avid Denver Bronco Fan. She is survived by her children, Kelly Lewis and husband Scott and Kip Forbes and wife Shannon all of Greeley; and grandchildren, Garrett (Morgan) Mullins and Rhiley Forbes. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two brothers. A memorial service to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 at Adamson Chapel Memorial contributions may be made to "Salvation Army” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
