Sharon C. Hartzell

Sharon C. Hartzell, 57, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte. Sharon was born April 27, 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Albert R. and the late Margaret E. (nee Kasper) Mazzoni and moved to this area in 1977 from Philadelphia. In 1988, she founded the non-profit agency, Time Out Respite Care, to which she dedicated her whole life. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt and she will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. Sharon is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 38 years, John C. Hartzell of Port Charlotte; sons, Johnny G. Hartzell and Justin N. (Tiffany) Hartzell all of Port Charlotte; father, Albert R. Mazzoni of Port Charlotte; brothers, Barry Joseph Mazzoni and Joseph Albert (Jennifer) Mazzoni, all of Port Charlotte; granddaughter, Lily M. Hartzell of Port Charlotte; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret E. Mazzoni in August 2012.
