Sharon Marie Melvin

Sharon (Russell) Melvin, age 65, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away on August 23, 2024. She was born on August 18, 1959 in Iowa City, Iowa to John and Frances Russell.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Bryan Melvin and her siblings; Teresa McCurdy, John Russell, Jim Russell, Tom Russell, and Janet Russell. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Jane Russell, Billy Russell, and Susan Russell.

Sharon had a successful career in pharmacology. She loved being outdoors, exercising, cooking, shopping, and most of all being around her family. One of her favorite things to do was to celebrate holiday’s by cooking wonderful feasts and desserts and inviting all of the family over to celebrate. She was always known for being so kind and thoughtful and will be dearly missed by all.

The viewing will be held at Viegut Funeral Home (1616 N Lincoln Ave, Loveland, CO 80538) on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm. Funeral services will also be held at Viegut Funeral Home on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Following the service, we will proceed to Loveland Burial Park for the burial, and following that, a reception/reflection will take place at 867 Jordache Dr, Loveland, CO.
