Of Waukesha, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thurs., Dec. 21, 2017 at the age of 80. She was born on Dec. 4, 1937 to Raymond and Grace Gilbertson. Sharon was a gifted artist, loved her garden, and being outdoors. Most of all, Sharon lived her life for her family. Sharon will be deeply missed by her children, Sandra (Quentin) Stedman and Laurel Stieg; grandchildren, Beau, Nicolas, Lindsay, Brandon, Hunter, Colton; great-granddaughter, Ava; siblings, Charles (Shirley) Skinner, Jack (Doreen) Gilberston, Sheldon (LaVerne) Gilbertson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Molly Engert; brother, Richard Gilbertson. Visitation for Sharon will be held on Thurs., Dec. 28, 2017 from 4pm until the 7pm funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to HAWS, 701 Northview Rd, Waukesha, WI 53188 or to Katy's Kloset, 404 Wilmont Dr D, Waukesha, WI 53189. A loving thank you to the members of the ProHealth Care hospice team for their exceptional care of mom.
