64, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010. She was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Sharon and her husband Alex moved to St. Petersburg in 2004 from Vancouver, B.C. She loved to travel, especially to meet family in Maui. She absolutely cherished her grandchildren, as they were her life's delight. She loved gatherings with family, close friends and her work colleagues. She always thought of others before herself. Sharon was an animal lover, and especially adored her beloved dog Fifer. She was an amazing mother, a loving and patient wife, and known to all others as a kind, generous and very special person. She was preceded in death by her father, John H. McLean. She is survived by her beloved husband, Alex Young; her son, Clint (Michelle) McLean; her daughter, Holly McLean; her sister, Shelley Galbiati; her mother, Kathleen McLean; and her five beautiful grandchildren, Kristen, Jadyn, Austin, Dallas, and Dakota McLean. In lieu of flowers, voluntary donations can be made to the Gulfcoast Oncology Foundation.
