Shawn P. McGrath

McGRATH, Shawn, 34, of Brandon, Florida, entered his eternal reward on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. He was formerly from Louisville, Kentucky, Hudson and Centerville, Ohio and Phoenix, Arizona. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Shawn graduated from Mountain Pointe High School Phoenix, Arizona and Arizona State University. Shawn wrestled professionally under the name Shawn “The Bad Seed” Osborne. He was employed by Asset Acceptance, Brandon, Florida. Shawn was a bone and tissue donor. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Joan (Rasche) McGrath, formerly of Highland Heights, Kentucky and Louisville, Kentucky, sisters, Monica (Joel) Walton of Cape Coral, Florida; Debbie Davis of Canton, Ohio, Peggy (Bill) Ashba of Port Charlotte, Florida; brothers, Douglas of Akron, Ohio, Gary (Maureen) of Mableton, Georgia, Jim (Jody) of Centerville, Ohio, Kevin of Orlando, Florida and Brian of Phoenix, Arizona; all formerly of Highland Heights, Kentucky and Hudson and Centerville, Ohio; niece, Hannah McGrath of Orlando, Florida ; nephews, James Tyler Davis of Canton, Ohio; Collin McGrath of Centerville, Ohio and Jackson McGrath of Orlando, Florida. A Healing Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 3550 E. Knox Road, Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, February 12, at 9:30 a.m. A non-denominational Celebration of Life will be announced after the Healing Mass, casual attire please. Donations may be made to the Humane Society, Metropolitan Ministries or funds set up at any Wachovia Bank or Florida Central Credit Union for the families of the two police officers killed in St. Petersburg, Tom Baitinger and Jeffrey Yaslowitz, and the Save the Manatee Club.
