Sheila Diane Coco, 56, entered into eternal peace on November 22, 2016, at St. Anthonys Hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington. Sheila was born on July 28, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois, to David Duncan and Patricia (Pinky) Oliver. She is survived by her devoted husband of 25 years, Steven John Coco; two loving sisters, Susan Elizabeth and her children, and Leslie Riley and family; three step daughters, Amber and Brett Welch and family, Kristy and Brian McCormick, and Meggan Coco, along with several close family members. Sheila was known as the beloved mother of her 6 cherished dogs that she raised and cared for over the years with Steve. Their names were Dino, Whiskey, Freddie, Pita (pain in the ass), Harry, and Jackie. Each one had a distinct personality and brought great joy to both Sheila and Steve. Harry and Jackie continue to live with Steve. As an avid supporter of ASPCA, Sheila donated money throughout the years toward the betterment of abused and forgotten animals. Her own dogs were a huge part of their daily family life, reflecting the love she had for animals. Her generosity also included sympathy and support for those in need, making donations to a favorite organization called BASH (Bikers Against Statewide Hunger). Sheilas professional career spanned over 30 years as an administrative office manager for several different companies in four different states: Illinois, California, Texas, and Washington. Her duties included everything from managing payroll, hiring and training personnel, coordinating conferences, inventory, and accounting. Sheilas outside interests included her extensive collection of china, Thomas Kincaid plates and paintings, and of course, her famous dollhouse furnished to the tee! Flags were another favorite of hers and could always be seen flying at their home during every occasion and holiday. Music played an important role in her life and included songs by Tom Jones (her absolute favorite), Barry White, Al Green, Carol King, Aaron Neville, II Volo, Josh Turner, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, and Motown tunes. Sheila was also known as a witty prankster who found great joy in pulling innocent pranks on those she loved. She had a keen imagination and loved a good laugh. Her beloved husband Steve met his She in 1991, in Riverside, CA, and knew the moment he met her that he loved her. They dated for a few months and it was magical! Soon after they met, Steve got a promotion as a general supervisor in Dallas, Texas. Sheila was headed to Colorado, but there was no way he was going to lose her. He asked her to join him in Texas, so they moved there in 1991. When Sheila accepted his marriage proposal on June 25, 1994, it was his dream come true. In 1995, Steve accepted a production manager position in Tacoma, WA. Their lives together were wonderful through the end. He will always love and cherish the 25 years they had together. He quotes, It is really hard knowing when I wake every morning that she is not with me. My beautiful Sheila, you will always be in my heart and I will love you forever. God rest my love. Your loving husband, Steve. I will miss you.
