Shelly married Paul A. Carr on June 2, 1979, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Parkland, Washington. She loved yoga, horses, dogs, and goats. Shelly is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Brynn A. Sutherland (Ryan); grandchildren, Hadley and Bode; and sister, Tamra L. Oughton. She was predeceased by her parents, Don and Evelyn Satra; brother, Thomas E. Satra; and sister, Christy L. Carlisle. Private family gathering. Memorial donations may be made to Pony Up Rescue for Equines, P.O. Box 1023, Ollala, WA 98359.
