Sherri Mathers

Sherri Ellen Mathers, age 70, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Glencoe surrounded by her loving family. Sherri was born in Pecos, TX on January 21, 1943, a daughter of the late Phylis Jane (Hoffman) and Robert Lee Stallings. Sherri worked in the Antioch Unified School District for 21 years. Sherri is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jerry Mathers of Glencoe; daughter, Phylis, and her husband Harry Reynolds, of Kelso, WA; sons, Warren, and his wife Mary Mathers, of Kelso, WA; Robert Peter, and his wife Ann Babick, of Tucson, AZ; Sean, and his wife Traci Babick, of Jacksonville, FL; Steven, and his wife Peggi Babick, of Carrollton, TX; Ivan Mathers, of Glencoe; Jayson Mathers, of Longview, WA; a sister, Melinda Holly; brothers, Robert Stallings, Phil Walker, Billy Walker, David Walker; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her sister, Cindy Walker. She was a family oriented person, great mother, grandmother and wife. The love for her family will carry on. She will be greatly missed. Friends are invited to attend a memorial mass Saturday, May 18, 2013, 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Mokelumne Hill, CA. Inurnment is private.
