Obituary for: Sherry H. Dampier Sherry H, Dampier, age 64, of Opp, Alabama passed away October 6, 2010 in Dothan, AL. She was born May 4, 1946 in Jesup, Georgia, the daughter of the late Harold Lloyd and the late Emily Olia (Chapman) Herrin. She married William Jesse Dampier; he preceded her in death on February 18, 2008. She was a Homemaker Survivors include three daughters: Joy (Aaron) Fields, Kim (Nicky) Lyon, Layne (Noah) Pennington, two brothers: William Harold Herrin, Randy Herrin, three sisters: Marie Redmond, Syble Gomez, Ann Salinas, Daughter in Law, Sam Dampier of AL and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Mon. October 11, 2010 at 11:00 am at Friendship Baptist Church, 801 N 11th St, Immokalee. Interment will be in Felda Cemetery, Felda. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church-Immokalee. She was preceded in death by her son William Shell Dampier and grandson Clayton Dampier.
