Sherry Lou Vail (Teneyck), 52, of Edina, Minnesota (formerly New Richmond, Wisconsin) passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 1, 2021. Sherry is preceded in death by her father Wayne Orlo Teneyck, her mother Marlys Jean Teneyck (Mork), sister Arlene Bush (Eckerman). Sherry is survived by her daughter Tegan Vail, her son Tracen Vail, as well as her many siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Sherry loved an excellent (and often inappropriate) joke and a good prank. Growing up, her children would often groan about her jokes, acting embarrassed, only to realize the genuine humor and hilarity in the jokes years later. Sherry was passionate about her work in the healthcare field, spending hours becoming a Sterile Processing Surgical Technician and a Certified Nursing Assistant. Sherry loved art glass, a passion instilled by her parents, Wayne and Marlys. She loved hunting for a good deal, often dragging her children along to dusty antique stores and auctions; Sherry collected (and sometimes re-sold) many beautiful pieces over the years. A celebration of life for Sherry will be held on October 16, 2021 from 2-6 pm in Minneapolis, MN at her daughter’s home. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Tegan or Tracen at 612-715-8312 for the address.
