Shirley Brewer (Nana), 81, of Chico, CA went home to be with the Lord on February 17th, 2023. She was born in Texas, November 28, 1941, to the late Henry and Lucille Tong of Aptos, CA, the 2nd of 8 children. If you had the privilege of knowing this beautiful soul, you were lucky. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who adored her family. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank Brewer, her beloved dog; CoCo, her children; Steve (Debbie) Harvey, Cheryl Harvey Hayes and Brian Harvey. Grandchildren; Brandon (Blair) Harvey, Kayla (Garret) Wagner, Dana (Andy) Palmer, Melissa Hayes, Brian Harvey Jr. and Weston Harvey. Great-Grandchildren; Madison & Rowan Harvey, Austin & Braxton Wagner, Andrew, Victoria & Justin (Amanda & Jaxon) Palmer, Trace Chumley & Eastlynn Greer. Sisters; Joan Melton, Linda Scott, Paula Crow. Brother; Calvin (Robin) Tong. Along with many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; Henry & Lucille Tong, sisters; Debbie, Tiffany & Wanda. Celebration of life will be held in South Carolina at a later date.
