Mrs. Shirley A. Connell, 77 of Live Oak, formerly of Auburndale, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015, in Auburndale. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, TN, and had lived for 27 years in Auburndale, and the last 33 in Live Oak. Mrs. Connell was a retired Deli Manager with Publix for 35 years and attended Westwood Baptist Church in Live Oak. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. Mrs. Connell was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Connell. She is survived by daughter, Denise O'Neal Daryl , 2 sons, J.C. Connell Jr. Joyce & Howard Marcus Connell Amy , all of Live Oak, 2 brothers, Houston and James Morris Key, both of Auburndale, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
