Memorial Service will be at: Lakewood United Church of Christ 100 Carr Street Thursday, September 27, 2012 2:00pm Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by two sons Richard Allen DeShea and David Wayne DeShea, also two grandchildren, Kari DeShea and Derek DeShea. She also has a younger brother Henry William Crass V and daughter-in-law Marlene DeShea. Preceded in death by her husband Louis A DeShea. In her earlier years she was involved in many functions: a Den-Mother for a Cub Scout Troop, she was a leader in a 4-H Club, sold Avon, and also became Western Slope Chairman for the Leukemia Society of America in fund raising, when her son David contacted leukemia. She also loved fishing and camping. Later she took up oil painting and became an accomplished painter. Whatever she put her mind to do, she would go all out and usually wouldn't let anybody stop her or get in her way. Birth: Jan 25, 1934, Denver, Colorado Death: Sep 18, 2012, Wheat Ridge, Colorado
