Shirley Anne Majors
February 16th, 1936 - June 2nd, 2009
Born 1936 in Seattle, Shirley was 73 years old when she passed away on June 2nd 2009 from a long term illness. Shirley, a loving Wife and Mother is survived by her son James. She was an avid bowler who won several trophys over the years. Shirley was a long time resident of West Seattle who along with her husband Edward owned and operated a freight brokerage service called Major Link Inc. Their business concerned shipments moved by truck, but also coordinated Rail and Steamship service from Alaska through the lower 48 states and Canada. She helped to run the business for over 20 years. Shirley will be missed by her family and friends. A Funeral will be held Wednesday, June 17 at 11:00 a.m at St Annes Church, 1411 1st Ave W on Queen Anne Hill. A recn will follow the service. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Cancer research.
