Shirley May Owens

Shirley May Owens, age 55, of Fort Myers died Friday, October 7, 2011 at Joanne's House At Hope Hospice of Bonita Springs. Shirley was born January 26, 1956 in Boston, MA. Shirley is the daughter of the late Charles N. and the late Evelyn R. (Smallman) Crowley. She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church and had been employed by the law firm of Morgan and Morgan as case manager. Shirley is survived by her husband 38 years: David Owens; two daughters: Lisa (Paul) Borrows of Fort Myers, Danielle Owens of Fort Myers, one son: David Michael Owens of Lake Butler, three sisters: Evelyn Kendall of Kingston, NC, Barbara Wells of Snow Hill, NC, Joan Welch of Jamaica Plains, MA and one grandchild: Larissa Viera. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:00 am, Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 13031 Palm Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL with Father David Arle officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 12 from 5-8 p.m. with the wake service at 7:00 P.M. at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.
